Barns of Clackamas County
I created this site as a tribute to the many old, historic, and beautiful barns of Clackamas County. As I build this site, I will be adding photos and stories of these barns.
To the left, you will find a list of barns sorted by area. There’s also a listing of “Lost Barns,” barns that are no longer standing but deserve notice.
Many of these barns have history recorded in the Oregon Historic Sites Database or the Oregon Century Farms database. For barns where I have this information, links are included.
For the barns that do not have written history, I’ve attempted to contact the owners to see if they have any information about their barns. Unfortunately, few have replied. For those that have, I’ve added this information as well. When I have some time in the future, I may try researching county records to see what I can find out about the history of these barns.
