Gibson Barn- Woodburn

This barn sits on a lovely piece of property with a pond. Horses graze the meadow in front of the barn (although the field fencing provides challenges to photographing it!) The Gibson Barn was built around 1890, and may have been built as early as 1880. Records are unclear on the history of the property’s ownership, but it was owned by Mary K. and possibly Albert Gibson.

The barn is built from hand-hewn timbers and shows a Dutch/New England influence such as a tall hay loft and doors on the end of the barn rather than the sidewall. .
