The barn now on this property, which can only be viewed at a distance, is probably not the original barn, as it appears to be covered in sheet metal, and the Clackamas County Historical Resources survey in 1990 noted that the barn was deteriorating.
Lucinda Wheeler was deeded the property in 1893 and it remained in the Wheeler family until after WWII.
